It was agreed at the Captains meeting on Monday night that ACTEBA will be using Poolstat for league Management and stats. So I will be encouraging Captains to use the live scoring feature of this system to add a new dimension to ACTEBA and also to assist is results and stats being published quicker. I will be contacting each captain individually regarding this with further info……. but I will put out a screen cast demo of how to use the Live Scoring soon. I will also be setting up a test comp which will have Live scoring for each captain to practice/play around with. Lastly, to help implement Live Scoring successfully I will arrange a Demo night where I will invite all captains or users to attend to see how the system works and to answer any questions

See below list of entries and qualifiers list for the 2017 Open Singles Event.
Entries close for players outside the Top 48 this Friday….. so if you wish to enter and play in the qualifier you don’t have much time.
Currently there are 22 qualifiers who will be playing off for 11 spots in the main draw (There has been one pull out so this spot will be added to those available to the qualifiers).
At this stage these 22 players will be split into 3 groups at 3 separate venues (with the top 3 or 4 in each group qualifying for the main draw). Groups and further info will be published next Monday once entries close for the event. A reminder that the qualifier Day is Saturday week on the 13th of May.
Also a reminder that you have to pay for this event……. As currently only half the entries have paid. The $30 entry has to be paid prior to closing of the event or you will lose your spot. If paying in the next day or 2, please send me a copy of the receipt.

Please click on following link to view results from the Masters Singles held last Saturday. Congratulation to Ian (Mongrel) Will for taking out the title and Phil Morton for a great effort in the Runner-up. Both Mongrel and Phil are excluded from the trails and take the 1st and 2nd position in the 2017 Masters State team.

The proposed changes have been done in Word…… so the changes are highlighted in red. You can view this document without highlighting the changes if you wish, you just need to click on the “review” tab at the top of the page and then click “Final”.
I will also be sending out some info on PoolStat which I will be discussing tomorrow night as well. I will be putting forward a motion to use this system for ACTEBA.

If you are on the Qualifiers List you are required to play on Saturday the 13th of May (format, venue and times TBA this weekend). Based on current entries there are 12 spots available in the main draw and 19 players on the Qualifiers list…….. so if there are no more entries the 19 players will play off for the 12 available spots.
