The first week of the comp is June 5th/6th.

The 2024 ACT State Championships were held at the Harmonie German Club over the weekend.
Congratulations to the 2024 ACT State Champions and well played by all participants in all three categories.
In the Open grade Anthony Chia is the 2024 ACT State Champion and Shane Smith is the runner-up. Nicole Welsh is the Ladies 2024 ACT State Champion with Lesieli O’Connor being the runner-up. The Masters 2024 ACT State Champion is Matt Power and Murray Jefferies is the runner-up.

2024 ACT State Championship – Masters Results
A huge thank you to everyone involved in the running of this event, whose efforts made this a very successful tournament. Those who made this event possible include (but not limited to) The Harmonie German Club, On Cue, the tournament directors, the adjudicators and referees, the various sponsors, live streaming provider and the commentators.
The start times for the 2024 ACT State Championships are as follows.
Open State Championship: Start time – 6pm Friday 5th April
Masters State Championship: Start time – 10am Saturday 6th April
Ladies State Championship: Start time – 10am Sunday 7th April
These start times are for the first matches of that day’s play. Please refer to the Schedule of Play document for details of when your match is expected to begin. Aside from the first matches of the day, the times indicated are estimated and matches may be called earlier than the time shown. For example, there will not be a match before 10am on Saturday, however the 12pm matches may be called prior to 12pm as the 10am matches start finishing up. Players should ensure they are there and at the venue when their match gets called or you will be forfeit. We are using Poolstat’s SMS feature so keep an eye out for an SMS with your match PIN and table allocation.

The championships are a knockout style tournament with the Open, Ladies, and Masters to all be held in the same venue at the same time.

2024 ACT State Championship – Open Singles
THE SUPER SENIORS EVENT IS SCHEDULED FOR THE FOLLOWING DATES:
Saturday 23rd March and Sunday 24th March with play commencing at 10am both days.
ELIGIBILITY:
You must be 60 years of age or over at the time of the event. The Eventbrite entry fee for the Super Seniors is $35 plus a small admin fee.

COMPETITION FORMAT:
The format of the competition will be a Round Robin. The number of Round Robin frames to be played will be finalised taking into account the number of entries received. Expect to play 5 to 6 hours per day. The competition will be played under the International 8 ball Rules.
The top 3 players at the completion of the competition will be selected for the new 2024 ACT Over 60’s Team to represent ACT at the National Championships in October 2024.
PLAY SCHEDULE:
Play commences at 10am on both Saturday and Sunday. Tables will be open half an hour before the expected starting time for practice. Rounds will require approximately 5 to 6 hours to complete. There will be no breaks for lunch.
