2024 ACTEBA Masters Trials – Top 16
Please see attached last weekend’s results from the group stage and the top 16 for this weekend at the Harmonie German Club.
This weekend is a Round Robin x3.
The club will open at 9.30am and play will commence at 10.00am each day. 1.5 rounds of the round robin will be played on each day.
Top 5 will be offered positions in the 2024 ACT Masters Squad.
2024 Australia Cup
We are now taking entries for the 2024 Australia Cup with trials to be held on both days of the weekend 10th and 11th of August.

2024 ACTEBA Masters Trials – Round 1 Groups
Please see attached the groups for Round 1 of the Masters Trials this weekend.
The top four ranked Masters have a bye in the first round: Mongrel, Phil Morton, Sid Scott, Gerard Johnston.
The format is a round robin x3, with the top 3 from each group making it through to join the seeds in the top 16 next weekend.
All groups are at the Harmonie German Club 9.30am for a 10.00am start.
2024 ACTEBA Masters Trials
Entries are now open for the 2024 ACTEBA Masters Trials, where the top 5 players will join the winner and runner up from the Masters Singles to be eligible for the ACT State Masters team for the 2024 Nationals.
The Masters Trials will be held over two weekends.
Rd 1 – 27th and 28th of July. Players will only be required to play on one day.
Rd 2 (Top 16) – 3rd and 4th of August. Players will be required to play both days.
This event is open to players aged 50 and over on the first day of the event.

2024 ACTEBA Open Trials – Top 20 Results
The 2024 ACTEBA Open Trials Top 20 round robin was played over the weekend. Thanks to Shane Smith for adjudicating on Saturday and Jinbo Huang for adjudicating on Sunday.
Sid won the play-off 2-1 with Pete for 7th place, Mongrel won the play-off 2-0 with Will for 15th place. Jack chose to not have a play-off for 12th place with Joseph.
