ACT Australia Cup Teams

ACTEBA is looking for expressions of interest from members to play in the inaugural Australia Cup.

ACT can enter two teams into the event which is run concurrently with the 2022 AEBF National Titles in Albury in November this year.

Further details of the event and eligibility criteria is listed below.

We’re not looking for members to enter teams themselves, we are looking for individuals that are interested in playing, then ACTEBA Executive Committee will be selecting 1 or 2 teams depending on numbers based on the people that have expressed interest.

* Aus Cup Teams Championship

* Aus Cup Singles Championship AEBF

* AEBF Plate

* 6-Red Challenge

The Australia Cup eligibility criteria.

1. Open to all grass roots players around Australia.

2. If the player has played national previously, The player must not have averaged OVER 45% at their last three nationals.

The AEBF reserves the right to reject a players entry to the Australia Cup if they are deemed to be elite yet have not played at nationals.

2022 ACTEBA Winter 8-Ball Competition

The draws for each division can also be found on the ACTEBA website under the League Stats and Ladder tab.

Note that the player list is accurate as of 17th June. All late entries will be added prior to matches starting on Wednesday and team captains will receive a notification before Wednesday’s matches that includes their new Poolstat PIN for this season.

Congratulations to Penny Foudoulis, Ashleigh Smith, Vanessa Nelson, Michelle Massey and Ann Moimoi who were the top five players in the 2022 ACTEBA Ladies Trials event. They will be joining Nicole Welsh and Kylie Power in the 2022 ACTEBA Ladies Representative Team.
Well played to all participants and a big thank you to the adjudicators, Tournament directors, The Harmonie German Club and On Cue.

2022 ACTEBA Ladies Trials Entries Now Open

Entries are now open for the ladies trials event, starting 18-19 June 2022. This may be held over a single weekend dependent upon entries.

Entries must close 7:00PM Tuesday 14th June 2022.

Top 5 ladies will qualify for the 2022 ACT Ladies Team, joining Nicole Welsh and Kylie Power who qualified through the Ladies Singles event.
