2015 Summer Comp – Grand Final Results
2015 Open Team Manager
Nominations are now open for any interested person that would like to Manage the 2015 Open Team at the National Championships.
If you are interested in the Managing the team, please send your nomination to Matt Harmon (td@acteba.com.au) or Doug Percy (pres@acteba.com.au)
The position will be appointed by the Executive Committee at the June Captains meeting. If you would like any further information on the duties and responsibilities of the Team Manager, contact either Matt or Doug.
2015 Masters Singles Results
Congratulations to Ian (Mongrel) Will who took out the 2015 Masters Singles Title yesterday. This is Mongrel’s 6th Straight Masters title which is an amazing effort with a high quality Masters contingent in ACT.
Mongrel defeated Sid Scott in the final 7 – 5. Sid got off to a great start leading 2 – 0, then 4 – 2. Mongrel railed it back to 4 all, but Sid was still up for a fight winning the next frame to make it 5-4. Mongrel lifted his game and played some great pool to turn things around and lead 6-5. The 12th frame was a tight frame and could have went either way. Sid has first opportunity on the black, but unfortunately fouled leaving Mongrel two visits to finish the frame and take the title.
Commiserations to Sid, but great effort in pushing Mongrel and making his first Masters Singles final.
Well done to Jack Dehm & Phil Morton for making the Top 4 in ACT and also to Tolly Auva’a who finished 5th to make up the 2015 Masters team to travel to Albury in October.

2015 Winter Comp Update – DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES – 18th May
The nominations for the Winter Comp were due at the meeting last Monday…… but I have only received approx. 28 team entries.
I will extend the deadline till Monday 18th May, but no later as I need time to put the draw and all info together.
There is a handful for teams that I know are going to play that haven’t entered….. please get your entries in ASAP and before the above date.

A reminder the meeting is on this coming Monday and there are a few things due which are listed below:
1. Team Nominations are due at the meeting for the Winter comp, click on the following link to enter your team – Click for Team Nomination form
2. Ladies Singles entries close at the meeting, click on the following link if you wish to enter – Click to Enter Ladies Singles
3. ACTEBA State of Origin – If you wish to nominate for Squad or Division captain for the Guns or the Potters, let me know as it will be voted on if required at the meeting.
An adjudicator is still require for the Masters group at Kaleen this Saturday…. so if your free and able to help please let me know ASAP?
