2015 Ladies Singles Champion
Congratulations Nicole Welsh on winning the 2015 ACT Ladies Singles Title. This is Nicole’s 4th straight Ladies singles title and 7th in total…… which is a massive achievement.
Nicole defeated Cindy Blackmore 7-6 in a very high standard final which was close all the way. Commiserations to Cindy, but well done on a great effort making her 15th Ladies Singles final (also a very impressive achievement).

2015 Ladies Singles Event – Round 1 Results
Apologies in the delay in getting results out for the Ladies Singles event which was played last weekend.

The first half of the Top 12 was played on Sunday……. and they will all be back this Saturday to complete the second half. After playing half the frames of the Top 12 I can tell you it is very close and is likely it will come down to the last few frames to decide the top 4 and State team.
Good luck to the Top 12 on Saturday…… a reminder that Fyshwick Tavern will open at 10.30am with play starting at 11am sharp.
The Top 4 ladies will come back on Sunday at Fyshwick to playoff for the 2015 Ladies Singles Title.
2015 Ladies Singles Event – Groups Round 1
Click on following link to download groups for round 1 of the Ladies Singles event. We have 26 ladies entered which is a great number and a good increase on previous years.

Round 1 will be held on Saturday 23rd of May, venues will open at 10.30am with play starting at 11am sharp. Format for round 1 will be a round robin x 3, with the top 4 players progressing to the Top 12.
The Top 12 will be played the following day on the 24th of May. The format for the Top 12 will be a round robin x 4…. half of this will be played on the 24th and the second half will be played the following Saturday on the 30th. Top 12 will be played at Fyshwick Tavern which will open at 10.30am for an 11am start. The top 7 finishers will be selected to represent ACT at the Nationals and the Top 4 will come back on Sunday the 31st to playoff for the Ladies Singles Title.
