2019 Summer Comp Entries close 3/12/18

Entries for the 2019 Summer season are now open and you can enter via the following link – Click to view entry form

PLEASE CHECK ALL YOUR PLAYERS ADDRESS AND EMAILS BEFORE ENTERING YOUR TEAM. DON’T GUESS, AS IT MAY MEAN YOUR TEAM MEMBERS WON’T GET UPDATED WITH ACTEBA INFO AND MAY NOT GET SELECTED IN CORRECT STATE OF ORIGIN TEAMS. Last season there was about 40 email address entered incorrectly!!

I also won’t be entering teams for anyone! Please enter your team yourself even if all players are exactly the same. Last season I did this for a few teams and players details had changed and were incorrect.

Entries Close 3rd December and Draw and captains pack will be emailed out 17th December. Summer Comp Commences on 16th January 2019.

As previously discussed, I will be proposing a Canberra Super League. I won’t have the time to do this for the 2019 Summer Season, but will have the proposal put forwarded and voted before the 2019 Winter season with the plan to implement that season.

On Wednesday night we concluded the 2018 Winter Season. Congratulations to the following 2018 Winter Season Grand Final Champions:

Div 1 – Hammerheads
Div 2 – Motley Cues
Div 3 – Screamers
Div 4 – Islanders
Div 5 – Demolition

This concludes the 2 seasons for the year. The 2019 Summer Competition Nomination will open soon and will close at the December Meeting. The 2019 Summer Comp will start on the 16th January 2019.

There are only few events left to round out 2018 which I have listed below:

2018 National Championships – 18th – 26th October. Good luck to all ACTEBA players participating in the Nationals this year.

Champion of Champions – Commences 31st October and runs for 4 Wednesday’s

Divisional Championships – Please note that it was voted on last Monday’s Captain’s meeting to scrap this event as it has very little interest each year. So this will not be running in 2018
