Players,
The 2010 State Trials nomination form is available from the Docs and Forms page, or this direct link:
2010 State Trials Nomination Form
Note that nominations for the Ladies Singles event are due by the March meeting, all other nominations are due by the April meeting.
Also, the updated player list for the Summer 2010 season is available here:
Hi all,
First, some important stuff:
1. Unfortunately the Earls of Erindale have withdrawn from Division 5, meaning there are two byes in this division. This is a shame, but it’s too late to change the draw now.
2. Ladies Singles event – entries are due at the March meeting (not April as advertised on the flyer) as the event commences on 10 April, and the April meeting is on the 12th (due to Easter). Please submit your entry at the March meeting, or contact Chris directly.
3. Don’t forget, all team fees are due at the next captains meeting, Monday 1st March.
Lastly, the email addresses I have for the Demons, Rail Runners, Concords and Misfits are not working, and I have no email address for the Earls, Jets or Islanders. If you would like additional email addresses added to this distribution list, please let me know.
And now, drum roll please… here are last night’s results…

Players,
Today is the last day to register your vote for this year’s Richard Taliaferro Sportsperson of the Year.
Please see the article at the top of the page for more info.
Players are reminded that matches on Wednesday nights must start on time.
The issue has arisen that matches are extending past the opening hours of some venues due to starting late. This can have the effect of putting the venues at odds with ACTEBA and our players, which is a situation which should be avoided at all costs.
Teams are aslo reminded that scoresheets must be completed and exchanged BEFORE 8pm, “time running” can be called at 8pm, and a forfeit can be recorded against a team for not having enough players to field a team by 8.30. (Refer Bylaws 23 and 30.)
Hi all,
First, a reminder that all team fees are due at the next captains meeting, Monday 1st March. If your fees are not paid by this time, a $10.00 late fee (per player) is charged. If the fees are still outstanding after the April meeting, all players are placed on the Debtors list, all points earned through the season will be lost, and teams will not be able to play until the fees are paid.
Also, the email addresses I have for the Demons, Rail Runners, Concords and Misfits are not working, and I have no email address for the Earls, Jets or Islanders. If you would like additional email addresses added to the distribution list, please let me know.
And now, what you’ve all been waiting for… here are last night’s results… (some still outstanding)

Voting is now open for the 2010 Richard Taliaferro Sportsperson of the Year Award (nominations closed on February 1). The purpose of this award is to perpetually recognize and congratulate ACTEBA members for consistent displays of outstanding sportsmanship.
During the nomination period, any current ACTEBA member (or if between seasons any member of the last completed season) may nominate any member that they believe to have consistently displayed outstanding sportsmanship over a period of at least the previous two full consecutive seasons. A nomination will count as one vote to the nominee.
Any member may register one vote only for any one nominee by informing the ACTEBA webmaster (click on the Contact Form to email the webmaster, or via sms/phone to 0413130984).
Voting closes on 15 February 2009. Nominees for 2010 are:
Penny Foudoulis, Edmund Chen, Alison Murphy, Steve Phillips, Melissa Chapelli, Doug Percy, and Kevin Harrow.
