1st Div
Labor Club TOROs Def Fyshwick Tavern Embalmers 13 – 8
The Toros got off to a huge start leading 5-1. Embalmers stuck in there and fought back to get with-in 2 frames going into the final round. Toros regathered their momentum and managed to win the first 3 frames of the last round to take the title. It was without a doubt that Brent Hampton’s beard helped get the TOROs over the line. The continues stroking of the beard by Brent, and his fellow team mates was obviously the key to the good run of balls 

2nd Div
The Basement DV8s def Tuggeranong Vikings Wanderers 13 – 10
After having a 13-11 win each during the regular season, It was always going to be a close match between these two teams. The DV8’s managed to step it up during the final series beating the Wanders in the preliminary final and again in the Grand Final last night. Congratulations DV8’s on their third 2nd Division Title.

3rd Div
Civic Pub Felt Rippers def The Basement Budgie Smugglers 13 – 6
Congratulations to The Felt Rippers for their first team title and good luck in 2nd Division next season.

4th Div
Chisholm Tavern DOTS def Fyshwick Tavern Avengers 15 – 14
This was an exciting match and was hard to pick who was going to over the line. The Avengers got off to a good start and lead most of the match (I’m pretty sure). But the Dots with a wealth of experience (multiple State Champions in this team I may add) managed to come back to a 12 all draw after regular time. In overtime the Avengers got off to a good start again leading 2-1. With the Avengers looking in control of the last two frames the Dots somehow turned it around and with two simultaneous blacks the Dots took the title from underneath the Avengers.

5th Div
Burns Club Neville’s def Mooseheads Rangers 13 – 8
Congratulations to the Neville’s in taking out 5th Div in their debut season. This is a second year in a row that 5th Div has been won by a team on their debut.

This concludes the 2014 Summer Competition, congratulation again to all the winners.

Winter season will commence on Wednesday 18th June. All information regarding this comp will be handed out at the Captains meeting on Monday 2nd June.
