As you’ve seen from Matt K’s post below, the ACT Ladies have made the finals for the second straight year!!!
I’m still waiting on the final stats to come on to the AEBF website, but I can confirm that Nicole Welsh has come equal first in the stats for the Ladies!!!! This is a great result for Nicole and apparently something she was not aware of until the final matches were being played.
I’ll put out a full report tomorrow night, but as well as big performances from Mongrel and Michelle Massey in the Singles, here’s a quick summary of the results:
* Masters team smashing home wins in 5 of their last 6 matches the finish equal 5th.
* Mongrel finishing equal 4th in the stats for the Masters
* Open Team overcoming difficult middle sector to finish with 2 wins and 2 draws and 5th place in the standings.
* Matt Harmon and Michael Hazilias finishing equal 12th in the stats on 59.52%
* Les O’Connor finishing 13th in the stats with 57.50%
* Semisi grabbing 5 Master Breaks and 5th overall
The Ladies are back in action tomorrow in their semi final against who knows (I can’t find it on the AEBF website), but having finished 4th they will need to step it up another notch to keep their run going.
