Open Singles_2016_Round 1 Groups
Round 1 is played on the 4th & 5th of June….. please note some groups start at 10.30am, with most starting at 11am as shown at the top of each group. Kaleen Tavern & The Basement are not available for round 1, so I have had to use venues with only two tables…… so these groups are expected to take between 7 & 8 hours (especially groups with 9 players).
The format is a round robin x 3 single frames, with the top 4 players progressing through to round 2.
The Top 64 have a bye in round 1 and the Top 32 have a bye the first two rounds. I have listed the top 64 seeds below:
As mentioned in my email on Friday, Round 4 and the Top 16 dates have changed slightly. Below are the lists of dates which won’t change.
Round 1 – 4th & 5th June
Round 2 – 18th & 19th June
Round 3 – 25th & 26th June
Round 4 – 2nd July (all players play on Saturday)
Top 16 – 3rd & 10th July (both Sunday’s spread over two weekends due to venue availability)
Top 4 – 16th July
