2008 Nationals Team Managers required.

ACTEBA State Executive are seeking nominations for the positions of:

Ladies State Team Manager and Open State Team Manager.

The responsibilities for these positions are:

Prior to Departure to event:

Provide Code of Conduct and dress code information to all team members;
Ensure all team members pass or have passed the D Grade Umpire’s exam;
Arrange purchase of State Team shirts and jackets;
Assist with travel and accommodation arrangements as required.

At the National Championships:

Attend a pre-tournament meeting;
Ensure all team members dress appropriately at official events;
Ensure all team members behave appropriately at official events,
and in general at the hosting venue;
Be present during all team matches to do the draw sheet & paperwork for the Captain.

After The National Championships:

Write a report on the performance and conduct of the Team you are managing.

The 2008 Nationals are being held at Country Club Tasmania in Launceston from 27 October to 6 November.
The team Managers will each be required to purchase and wear team uniform at official events,
and will receive a contribution of $500 from ACTEBA toward associated expenses.

These positions are open to all ACTEBA members. Any member interested must either provide a
nomination in writing to the ACTEBA President, Vice President or Secretary prior to the July 7 Captain’s meeting,
or be present at the July 7 meeting. Appointment to these positions will be via majority vote at the July 7 meeting.
