The Champions of the 2012 Winter comp have been decided!
1st Div
The Embalmers took out the title after forcing a playoff against the Hammerheads, fighting back from being behind 11- 7 to win 15-13. Well done to the Embalmers!
2nd Div
In what always seems to be an exciting battle for a place in 1st Div, Ojo’s KAOS and the Southern Cross Crackpots went blow for blow all the way down to the wire. A play off was required and even then it went to the last frame. Ojo’s KAOS emerging victors 15-14!
3rd Div
The Pains and Concords looked like it was going to be a tough match for both teams. The Pains however were able to edge away with the lead making a comeback difficult for the Concords. The Pains winning the match 13-6! Conrats to the Pains!
4th Div
The Basement Jacks and Motley cues went head to head in a tough match up, the Jacks just edging out ahead before a play off was required. Jacks winning 13-10 Congrats!
5th Div
Kambah Neil and Bob went head to head against Moosehead’s Rangers at Kaleen. 5th Div did not disappoint as the two team kept the excitement up trading blows and forcing a play off. Moosehead’s Rangers edging out the victory 15-14! Well Done Rangers!
Its been a big season for everyone but the 8 ball year isn’t over yet!
The Champions of Champions competition begins on the 21st November, and the Divisional Championships will be run over the weekend of December 1/2.
