What a close finish to a few of the divisions!
The Finals are here and for those first timers, as well as a few regulars who would like a reminder, the Finals run on a double elimination draw, which basically means you have to lose twice before you are knocked out. The first two rounds are played at the home venue of the team ranked higher on the ladder, whereas the Preliminary Finals and Grand Finals will be held at neutral venues. (sample draw is below)
Be aware that matches are only played until one team reaches 13 frames, no need to continue as the players frame counts do not count towards stats. (And yes – there have been a few 13-0 results over the years…)
In the event of a draw, both captains will write down 5 players on the back of their scoresheet in playing order, to contest a race to 3 playoff. The home team breaks the first frame, with the break then alternating.
In rounds played at neutral venues, teams will toss a coin to decide who is the home team on the scoresheet.
CAN ALL CAPTAINS WITH HOME MATCHES NEXT WEEK PLEASE INFORM THEIR VENUES! (Maram teams I will make one phone call to the manager for us).

Match 1: 1 v 4
Match 2: 2 v 3
Round 2
Match 3: winner Match 1 v winner Match 2
Match 4: loser Match 1 v loser Match 2
Winner of Match 3 qualifies for Grand Final, loser of Match 4 is eliminated.
Preliminary Final
Match 5: loser Match 3 v winner Match 4 (loser eliminated)
Grand Final
Winner Match 3 v Winner Match 5
