Over the weekend ACTEBA held the 2018 Masters Singles Event.
This saw our biggest turnout for the event with 28 players and some strong competitors. Congratulations to Richard Bondietti who defeated Paul Wilcott 9-8 in the Grand Final. This is Richards first state title which is well deserved after defeating some of the events favourites on his way to the final. Commiserations to Paul, but well done on making the final and congratulation on also taking out some big scalps on the way to the final. Full results for the event can be found through the following link – Click to view Full Masters Singles Results
Both Richard and Paul take the first 2 positions in the 2018 Masters Team to represent ACT at the Nationals in Albury in October.
A reminder that the Masters Trials event starts this weekend. Entries close this Thursday at 6pm, and groups will be published later that night. You can enter via the following link – Click to view Masters Trials entry form
The first weekend of Masters Trials you are only required to play one day. if you can’t play on a particular day, let me know before I do the groups on Thursday and I should be able to accommodate your request. there will be 3 or 4 groups and all groups will play at the HGC.
If you are free to assist in adjudicating either day, please let me know?
