Round 2 is played on the weekend of 18th & 19th of June and is a round robin x 3 with top 4 players progressing to round 3.
See start time listed at top of your groups (as this is different for some venues).
A few housekeeping reminders for players:
• If you are a smoker, check with Adjudicator when your next game is before going for a smoke
• Stick to 60 seconds per shot
• If your phone rings while you are playing and you have it in your pocket, it is a foul….. turn it on silent
• Don’t stand around chatting with you opponent (or anyone else) in between shots
• If you or your opponent is playing a shot that may be a close call…… ask the adjudicator to watch the shot. The adjudicator can’t make a call/decision on a shot he/she hasn’t seen……. In that case the player at the table gets benefit of the doubt.
• The adjudicator decision is final
There was some extremely slow play in round 1 mainly as a result of players been out smoking when their game was called. If this continues in round 2 I will look at introducing a “loss of Frame” foul for repeat offenders. Also a remember that adjudicators are volunteers and are giving up their time to assist you. If you disagree with their decision, don’t give them a hard time….. just move on!
