Congratulations to those that have progressed to round 2. Also a special mention to Mongrel & James Southwell….. they went through the first round undefeated. From my records (If anyone thinks different, please let me know) I believe this is a first in the history of ACTEBA’s State Title events, so congratulation on a massive effort.

Round 2 is being played this weekend…… see below groups. There are a number of pairs that I couldn’t put on their preferred days, apologies for this but there is no guarantee after round 1. Venues will open at 10.30am with play starting at 11am sharp. Format for round 2 is a round robin x3, with top 4 pairs progressing through to round 3 the following weekend.

A big thank you to the 4 people that adjudicated in round 1. I think the 4 groups that didn’t have adjudicators will appreciate how valuable adjudicators are and the time they volunteer. On that note, I’m looking for 3 volunteers to assist this weekend…… if you can adjudicate one of the attached groups, please let me know?
Just a note regarding round 3…… there will be 2 groups in this round and both will be playing on Saturday 5th September (this is to avoid anyone playing on Father’s Day).
