The Top 16 will be played at Fyshwick Tavern this Saturday and Sunday. Venue will open at 10.30am and play commencing at 11am sharp on both days. Two extra tables will be set up for the weekend and play is expected to finish between 5 – 6pm both days. Format is a full round robin x 4 with the top 9 players qualifying for the State Team and the top 4 will progress through to the singles shoot out the following Sunday.
There are certainly some new faces in the top 16, with 2 or 3 of the players reaching this far for the first time. Also, there is only 3 players from last year’s State Team in the final 16….. so we are definitely in for a new look team this year.
Below is the top 16 players that will fight it out for a place in the ACT Open Team to represent at the Nationals in Albury later this year.
