There has been some minor changes to groups 1, 2, 3 & 4. I missed a couple of players preferred days, so I have amended as all player get their preferred day for round 1.

Please see below link groups for round 1 of the 2014 Open Doubles Event. There was a total of 65 pairs entered, with all pairs playing from round 1 (no byes for seeds due to numbers)
Round 1 is being played on the weekend 23rd & 24th of August. Venues for all groups (except group 5 @ Kaleen on Saturday) will open at 10.30am with play starting at 11am sharp. Group 5 will commence at 10.30am (venue open from 10am) due to function in the evening.
Format for round 1 will be round robin x 3, with top 4 pairs qualifying for round 2 the following weekend.
NOTE: For round 3 (top 16), both groups will be playing on Saturday 6th September….. there will be no play on the Sunday as it’s Father’s Day.
Please check your team members/partner are aware of when they are playing, as not everyone has provided an email address
