ACT Eightball Association (ACTEBA)
The Masters Singles Championship will be held from Friday 12th March to Sunday 14th of March 2021 at the Harmonie German Club. This year it looks like it will be necessary to play a number of matches on the Friday night at 6pm and 8pm.
Full details can be found on the following link. Tickets go on sale Monday morning.

As our ongoing responsibilities regarding COVID, I would like to remind everyone while attending any ACTEBA event at the Harmony German Club (HGC) you must abide by the following:
1) Must register your attendance to the Club on entry. (Check in CBR app or by way of manual entry on the forms provided at entry)
2) Do not attend any ACTEBA events if you are showing any flulike signs or symptoms, including sore throat, running nose, coughing etc….
In conjunction with above please observe and continue to follow the ACTEBA COVID safety plan which is attached.

The voting process for the Richard Taliaferro Award will close tomorrow at midnight (Tuesday 9th February).
Voting Process
A nomination counts as one vote to the nominee.
Any member may register one vote only for any one nominee by informing the ACTEBA webmaster at mailto:webadmin@acteba.com.au
The nominee achieving the highest number of votes will be announced at the ACTEBA Presentation Event, and will be presented with a memorial keepsake and a perpetual trophy (silver plate) engraved with their name and the relevant year of play.
The perpetual trophy is to be kept by the winner until its return as requested by the Vice President (or Core Executive) prior to the following Presentation event.

Good morning,
Attached are the draws for the upcoming season, starting Wednesday 13 January 2021. Please note the grading shifts as we have an extra team this season. Byes will continue to exist in Divisions 3 and 4.
The Captains Pack with all of the relevant information around players lists etcetera will be sent out by the end of this weekend.
Poolstat PINS for each team will also be sent out by the weekend.

The 2021 Summer Comp entries are now open. The season is scheduled to start on 13th January 2021. This date is slightly earlier than last year due to the tight schedule we have to implement this year.
Entries will close 31st December 2020. The tournament directors will need to undertake substantial work to get the divisions and draw prepared before the season start. Please note that matches being played on a different night is still likely to be an option for this upcoming season.
Individuals can enter by the below link and register the venue and team they are playing for. Latest rankings will be published in the next few days.
