Hi all,
Results below and attached. Good luck to everyone playing doubles this weekend!
Hi all
The 9 Ball is still on this weekend at The Maram, Open on the Saturday / Sunday and Ladies on the Sunday only. Tables will be open from 10am for practice with play to start at 10.30am.
Whilst we have 12 tables at our disposal, previous years have run late into the Saturday night (We’re talking 10pm here). With this in mind, be prepared to return on Sunday to complete the competition.
The format will be double elimination knockout as in previous years. We will be using the 9 ball white balls, as although we are playing on eight ball tables, the idea is to run as close to a 9 Ball game as
possible.
Any questions please call or email.

Apologies for the delay, but here are the results for round 7. I used to think that playing at home was an advantage, but now I’m not so sure, with this week only 5 of 20 home teams saluting. One of those was a huge 22-2 win for the Pidos in div 2, an equal record.
[webmasters note: previous round results will be re-uploaded soon.]

Congratulations to the Fyshwick Tavern Embalmers, who ran away with the 2010 Champion of Champions title last night over a valiant Southern Cross Gringos.
The final score was 18-12.
This brings a close to the 2010 calendar of events. I think you’ll all agree that we’ve had a fantastic year of 8-ball, and on behalf of the Committee I’d like to wish you all a very happy and safe holidays.
We look forward to seeing you all in the new year!
Cheers,

Hi all
The 2011 Summer Season Draw and 2011 Calendar will be out by Christmas Eve, but just to confirm, the 2011 Summer Season will commence on Wednesday, February 2nd. Initially we had planned to start earlier, but with Australia Day falling on a Wednesday this year, plans changed. A few minor alterations to the calendar have allowed this later start date.
Best wishes to all ACTEBA members and supporters over the holiday period. We hope Santa is good to you all and your families.
Regards
