2017 Open Singles Draw & Session times
Click through to view list of session times and draw for this weekends Open Singles Event. 1 match scheduled for Friday has been swapped to Saturday by request due to a player being interstate till Friday night. I was able to accommodate this as enough notice was provided.

There has been a withdrawal from the main draw, so 14 players from the qualifiers proceed into the main draw. The players in bold on attached results have qualified through to next weekend. Well done
Also below is the final list of 96 players for the main draw played next weekend. The draw and times will be done and published tomorrow.

There is only 1 weeks break until the Winter Comp commences. The draw and captains pack for the Winter Comp will be published over the weekend. I will be contacting Captains later today to arrange a Poolstat demo for next Wednesday night. I encourage captains and any users to attend which will help implement the next system.

I will be doing the Team Gradings and divisions tomorrow so it’s important that your team is correct (last year a few teams forgot players which effected their team ranking) So if there is any errors with your team you need to let me know by tomorrow.

2017 Masters Trials – Top 12 results
This weekend saw the Top 12 in the 2017 Masters Trials playoff for the ACT Masters Team.
Congratulation to Pete Smith, Sid Scott, Tolly Auva’a and Paul Wilcott who have qualified for the team. These 4 players Join Ian (Mongrel) Will & Phil Morton, Winner and Runner-up from the Singles event to make up the 2017 Masters Team to represent ACT at the Nationals in November.

2017 Winter Comp Update

It was agreed at the Captains meeting on Monday night that ACTEBA will be using Poolstat for league Management and stats. So I will be encouraging Captains to use the live scoring feature of this system to add a new dimension to ACTEBA and also to assist is results and stats being published quicker. I will be contacting each captain individually regarding this with further info……. but I will put out a screen cast demo of how to use the Live Scoring soon. I will also be setting up a test comp which will have Live scoring for each captain to practice/play around with. Lastly, to help implement Live Scoring successfully I will arrange a Demo night where I will invite all captains or users to attend to see how the system works and to answer any questions
